At a recent Maine Coalition for Excellence in Education meeting, Sen. Peter Mills weighed in on the importance of celebrating early childhood education.

"I'm Peter Mills and I'm a member of [MCEE] and I'm also on the board with the [Maine Children's Growth Council] so I have a foot in both worlds. I have an interest in children's education - particularly in the confluence of both [organizations'] activities because early childhood is where it all starts."
